What Notch is

Notch is a browser extension that lets you add timestamped comments to videos on platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, Loom, Google Drive, and Dropbox. We do not host or control any video content.

Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Notch.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
One person per account — sharing accounts is not permitted.

Your content

You own the comments and reviews you create. By using Notch, you grant us a limited license to store and display your content in order to provide the service. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate anyone else's rights.

Acceptable use

You may not use Notch to:

Harass, abuse, or harm others.
Violate any applicable law or regulation.
Attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the extension or service.
Spam or distribute unsolicited content.

Third-party platforms

Notch operates alongside third-party video platforms. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube, Vimeo, Loom, Google, or Dropbox. Their own terms of service govern your use of those platforms.

Disclaimers

Notch is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep things running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Notch is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of Notch after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Termination

You may stop using Notch at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
